Wedding guests can enjoy fine champagne and canapes by the picturesque lily pond or strolling on the freshly cut lawns. The cosy oak-beamed barn, filled with glowing candles and scented flowers, is perfect for your special vows - whether it's winter or summer. And for the reception, guests can enjoy drinks in the orangery or in the breathtaking gardens.

The Venue:

Oaks Farm has two stunning reception rooms that together provide the perfect ambience for your special day. The Victorian barn, with its wooden beams and oak flooring, provides an intimate romantic setting for your ceremony. Alternatively you can marry in the delightful orangery, which affords fabulous views of the surrounding gardens. Wedding parties can also enjoy an unforgettable, intimate wedding breakfast in either the cosy barn or the elegant orangery. From here, savour a drink at the bar before dancing the night away with your family and friends. And when bedtime finally arrives, the newlyweds retire to the charming honeymoon cottage, nestled deep in the apple orchard.

Facilities:

The Barn The traditional Victorian Barn, with its rustic oak flooring and original wooden beams, provides a romantic environment for civil ceremonies and partnerships. It is also a beautiful setting for an intimate wedding breakfast. The arrangement of the furniture can be personalised to suit your requirements.

Evening Reception:

The evening entertainment will start from 6.30pm - The barn will be cleared of most of the tables and the DJ will set up and begin the wedding disco. The bar in the Orangery will be run by Stewards and will start serving drinks from 6pm to accomdate any evening guests who arrive at the venue early. Emmaneul Church, Normanton Road, South Croydon, CR2 7AF

Emmanuel Church:

Emmanuel is a large, active church in suburban South Croydon. By having three Sunday services and Messy Church on 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, Emmanuel caters for a range of styles of worship, from contemporary to contemplative, with a choir and two music groups. Many church and young people's groups meet during the week.

The church consists of the traditional nave, aisles, chancel and west narthex. There is a clergy vestry to the north of the chancel. The choir vestry and entrance porch to the south of the chancel built in 1956 were demolished in 2000 to make way for a new extension. The millennium extension built to the south of the chancel, consists of the Watney Room, Church Offices, Foyer / Coffee Bar, Toilets, Disabled Toilet and Youth Basement Room. The church halls are in a separate complex to the west of the church.
